Yunusa Tanko, National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, announces upcoming registration for members

Yunusa Tanko, the National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement registration, has announced that the movement will soon commence formal registration for both current and new members. In an interview on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily, Tanko emphasized the need to create a structured format to properly identify members of the movement. He further disclosed that an official announcement about the registration process will be made in the coming months.

Tanko, who was appointed by Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, stated that the Obidient Movement registration aims to ensure that members are fully engaged and aligned with the core values of good governance. According to Tanko, the movement, though largely made up of Labour Party members, transcends political affiliations and is focused on fairness, unity, and citizen engagement in Nigeria.

He explained that the Obidient Movement registration would allow members to be formally recognized and contribute more effectively to the movement’s objectives. Additionally, he hinted that discussions were ongoing regarding the potential fee structure for the membership process.
