EFCC Declares Man Wanted for Allegedly Stealing Commission’s Car


Ibrahim Mohammed, 26, is on the run after being accused of stealing and unlawfully possessing an EFCC vehicle.


The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared 26-year-old Ibrahim Mohammed wanted for allegedly stealing a vehicle belonging to the agency. Mohammed, who hails from Adamawa State, is accused of unlawfully possessing and stealing the car. The EFCC is calling on the public to assist with any information about his location.
In a statement released on Friday, the EFCC spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, confirmed that Ibrahim Mohammed is wanted in connection with the theft of the commission’s vehicle. Authorities have urged anyone with information to report to the nearest EFCC office or police station to aid in apprehending the suspect.

Mohammed, originally from Jada Local Government Area in Adamawa, was last known to reside at 56 Japa Bariki Road, Adamawa State. The EFCC has provided a contact number and email for anyone willing to come forward with useful information regarding his whereabouts.

The agency has assured the public that all tips will be handled confidentially, encouraging people to help bring Mohammed to justice for his alleged involvement in the theft of the commission’s vehicle. The EFCC emphasized its commitment to cracking down on all forms of crime and urged citizens to say no to corruption.
