SERAP sues President Tinubu, demanding a reversal of the petrol price hike and an investigation into NNPCL’s alleged corruption

SERAP’s lawsuit highlights the hardships caused by the petrol price hike and argues that President Tinubu’s administration should prioritize reversing the increase. According to the group, Nigerians have endured significant financial strain since the petrol price hike took effect.
The case also calls for an investigation into the NNPCL’s management practices. SERAP believes that corruption and mismanagement within the oil sector have contributed to the controversial petrol price hike under Tinubu’s leadership.
