Edo Governorship Polls 2024: INEC Reports 90.33% Results Uploaded to IREV

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has uploaded 90.33% of the Edo governorship election results to its Result Viewing Portal (IREV). The transmission includes results from 4,082 out of the 4,519 polling units across the state, making significant progress in the 2024 Edo elections.

According to INEC’s Resident Electoral Commissioner for Edo, Anugbum Onuoha, the Edo governorship election results were being electronically transmitted efficiently, barring any potential network issues. With over 2.2 million permanent voter cards collected, notable candidates such as Senator Monday Okpebholo of the APC, Asue Ighodalo of the PDP, and Olumide Akpata of the Labour Party are all vying for the governorship seat.
