APC Chairman Ganduje announces the party’s strategy to replicate its Edo election success in the South East, targeting Ondo and Anambra

Ganduje Outlines APC Strategy to Secure Ondo and Anambra Elections

Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has revealed the APC strategy for Ondo and Anambra elections. Speaking after the recent Edo governorship election, Ganduje expressed confidence that the tactics used in Edo will also help secure APC victories in the upcoming Ondo State election, scheduled for November 16, as well as future elections in Anambra and other South Eastern states.

During an event held in Abuja to celebrate Senator Monday Okpebholo’s win, Ganduje highlighted the need for APC to gain more control in the South East region, which currently has only a few states under the party’s leadership. He emphasized that a major focus of the APC strategy for Ondo and Anambra elections will be reclaiming dominance in key states governed by rival parties, including the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

Ganduje further called on party leaders to intensify efforts, stating, “A big party like APC deserves to be in charge of the South East geo-political zone. We have already begun developing a strategy to expand our reach, starting with Ondo and later moving to Anambra.” His remarks underscored the APC’s commitment to its political agenda, particularly in the traditionally opposition-dominated South East.

Looking ahead, Ganduje reiterated the party’s vision of achieving political dominance in the region. He described the APC strategy for Ondo and Anambra elections as part of a broader plan to end what he termed the “political marginalization” of the South East.
