Alleged Conspiracy to Overthrow Tinubu: N20 Million Bounty Placed on Wynne and Ehims

In a significant development, the Nigeria Police have announced a substantial bounty of N20 million on two individuals—Andrew Wynne, a British national, and Lucky Ehims, a Nigerian citizen. These individuals have been declared wanted in connection with an alleged conspiracy to overthrow President Bola Tinubu. The police have promised a reward of N10 million for information leading to the arrest of each suspect.

The Nigeria Police, in collaboration with various security agencies, have been conducting an extensive investigation into the activities of foreign nationals and local actors accused of plotting to destabilize the democratically elected government. The investigation has so far led to the arrest of nine suspects who are believed to have received substantial financial backing from foreign sources to execute their plan to destabilize Nigeria.

According to the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Muyiwa Adejobi, the suspects orchestrated and financed violent protests across the country. These protests were fueled by the dissemination of false information and other illegal activities aimed at creating widespread chaos, which could serve as a pretext for their illegal scheme to overthrow the government.

Andrew Wynne, also known by his aliases Andrew Povich or Drew Povey, has been identified as a key player in this conspiracy. He allegedly established a network of sleeper cells across the country, with the aim of toppling the government. Wynne reportedly used several fronts for his activities, including renting a space at Labour House in Abuja under the guise of running an ‘Iva Valley Bookshop’ and founding ‘STARS of Nations Schools’ as a cover for his subversive actions.

The police have urged the public to provide any information that could lead to the arrest of Andrew Wynne and Lucky Ehims. They have assured that anyone who assists in the capture of these individuals will be handsomely rewarded. If seen, the public is advised to apprehend them and immediately hand them over to the nearest police station.
